In December 2022, Lifezone Holdings Limited entered into a business combination agreement with GoGreen Investments Corporation (NYSE: GOGN), a blank check company, Aqua Merger Sub (a subsidiary of Lifezone Metals) and certain shareholders of GoGreen and Lifezone Holdings. The business combination between Lifezone Holdings and GoGreen was completed on July 6, 2023, and the resulting combined company's (Lifezone Metals') ordinary shares began trading on the NYSE under its new ticker symbol "LZM" on July 6, 2023.
